I was responsible for covering the inauguration of the new WAF Gallery. In this new space, visitors can discover a selection of works by the ten finalist artists of the WAF, an initiative dedicated to promoting female talent in the visual arts in Portugal.
WAF (Women Art Fellowship) is a fellowship created to strengthen the presence and voice of women in the arts in Portugal. It supports women artists with funding, specialist mentorship, and public visibility, promoting artistic and professional development. It seeks to drive original projects in the visual arts, sculpture, design, textile, crafts, and other forms of expression, bringing together art, community, and social impact.
